Three Words about Ged...
"Well Done Mate"

Ged's recent success with Peter Gabriel has learnt me one thing for sure which i would like to share 'Never Give up' !!! [img]cool.gif[/img]

Ged Taught me when i was 11 years old until i was 15, and he was in his late 20's then teaching secondary schools and when that was quite he would do the odd bit of painting and
decorating !

It would be also cool to hear what you guys think of him (if you have seen him live with Gabriel)

I agree with what already has been said. I first saw Ged On David Lettermen with Peter Gabriel and I was not sure what to think, but after buying the Growing Up DVD I was rather impressed with his playing and I believe he did a fine job.

I would love to see Dave Weckl drum for Peter Gabriel someday. Probably will never happen but I think it would be cool..

I havent seen the Ged stuff yet, but Manu did a superb job on Secret World Live Tour DVD...so, anyone steppin' into the PG d-chair is not gonna be a slouch...no news there... [img]wink.gif[/img] [It's just that that da** live recordg of MK's 7 Daze w Sting haunts his butt too this day...I'm not helping 'the haunt' situation by even mentiong it [img]wink.gif[/img] ] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Regarding Weckl and "pop bands"... interesting to imagine it, but I think Weckl is at his best doing "his thing", if you know what I mean.

Ah cool, I didn't know Ged plays on the 28 Days Later OST. I have that! lol

I was impressed with his drumming on the Peter Gabriel "Growing Up" DVD. What a STELLAR show!!! I had no idea who he was, but his playing was both fierce and yet smooth, so I tracked down some info on him. I'd like to hear what else he has done. Peter had some nice things to say about him in the "making of" segment!
